Dear Natasha -
I was just a child when you and your mother visited us quite often at our house on Walker Avenue, but I remember both of you very fondly. It is purely by coincidence that I Googled her name tonight, after thinking of you for the past few days. Please accept my very best wishes, and my condolences at this difficult time for you. In one respect she will live as long as there are people to remember her; I occasionally still have dreams in which she figures quite vividly!

Michael and I read in the Saturday Star about the passing of Lily. It's always a difficult time when a parent leaves the planet. We offer sincere condolences and at the same time are in awe of Lily's long life. We think of you often as we remember what are becoming the olden days for our generation. All the best to you, Natasha, and Richard. Keep well and remember the good times with Lily.

I worked for Lily In the late forties and fifties. She taught me many techniques in making hats. I send my sympthies to you Natasha. You were just a child when I used to go to her studio on Avenue Road just north of Bloor St.
