Susan was a wonderful and generous person, a great and loyal friend and colleague to many. I miss her laughter that she shared through thick and thin, her sensitivity, her amazing hugs, and her deep caring and concern for those around her. She is sorely missed.

I was in Grade 3 with Susan and in many classes with her after that at Balmy Beach and at Malvern CI. She was a dynamic educator who spoke movingly to Malvernites years later at their Commencement. She will be greatly missed. The Malvern Red and Black Society sends our sincere condolences.

I knew Susan as a student and teacher at Malvern Collegiate where I was principal. Our paths diverged and we met less frequently in later years. Her enthusiasm and joy in life recall wonderful memories of her as teacher and principal. My sincere condolences.

Susan was a dynamic educator and principal-- a mentor to many of us in the Toronto Board of Education. Her compassion, sense of students, knowledge about education issues as well as her wonderful sense of humour will be missed by all who knew her.
