ELIZABETH KIMOFF

Passed away peacefully at Toronto East General Hospital on October 15, 2015 in her 111th year.

Elizabeth will be sadly missed by her only remaining son Dr Richard Kimoff and wife Elizabeth.

Predeceased by Husband Slavcho as well as sons Robert (Anne) and William (Mary). She will be lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A private family burial will be held on Monday, October 19th. "Flowers gratefully declined" as requested by Elizabeth herself, however donations in memory are welcome and can directed to the Canadian Bible Society.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Gospel Chapel.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Harmony Hills Care Community facility whose dedication, hard work and attention to detail surpassed all expectations. We truly appreciate all that you have done to make grandma comfortable during her stay with you.

Thanks also to the wonderful team at Toronto East General who were so kind and compassionate during the final days of grandma's life.

My Grandparents Jimmy and Esther Evanoff were friends of Slavcho and Betty Kimoff and I can recall my mom Dorothy McCabe(nee Evanoff) telling me about family visits to "Auntie Betty". My Mom's sister Gladys and brother Albert( both still living) recall Betty's strong faith and her amazing longevity. She was a great role model. Our condolences to the Kimoff immediate and extended family. RIP, dear Betty.

Thank you Grandma for making the treck to Canada way back. I am eternally grateful for that choice. Although we did not see each other very much as we were in Western Canada, I am so glad I was able to spend a little time with you last year. Your strength and faith was something to behold.

Grandma was a wonderfully inspiring and resilient lady. I admired her strength, tenacity, pragmatic outlook and positive energy. She will be greatly missed by us all - life won't be the same without her.

What a wonderful life has gone to be with her Lord. My sincerest sympathy of reading in the papers of her passing. Memories of you all flood back as I think of our fellowship at Greenwood Gospel Chapel; how well I remember your mother, in fact your whole family. We also shared a bond in our medical professions.
