ELIZABETH "BETTY" ZARIC

ZARIC, ELIZABETH "BETTY" Betty passed away peacefully, at McCormick Home, London, on Thursday, July 14, 2022, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Stevan Zaric. Loving mother of Gregory Zaric and his wife May of London. Cherished grandmother of Alice and Colin Zaric. Dear sister of Shirley Mansell and her husband Michael of Toronto, Janet Carkner and her husband David of Chesterville, June Monge and her husband Manuel of Nicaragua and Roy Pitts of Calgary. Betty is also survived by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Leonard Worster and Louise Pitts. Betty grew up in Williamsburg, near Ottawa and later moved to Toronto to attend Teacher's College. She later became a dedicated primary teacher for 35 years and loved every day of her career (except for writing report cards by hand). She was a passionate Bridge player in her second career and proud of attaining Life Master status. Betty absolutely adored her two grandchildren, they made her world go round. Family and friends are welcomed for Visitation on Friday, July 22, 2022, from 12-1 p.m. at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A Graveside Service will take place on Monday, July 25, 2022, at 1 p.m. at St. John's Dixie Cemetery, Mississauga.
