Ella Morgan Obituary

ELLA MARTHA MORGAN (nee WILLENBRECHT) Our dearest Mamie, Ella Martha Morgan (nee Willenbrecht), wife of Vytautas Krygeris (deceased), Donald Morgan and Pastor Eberhardt Schwantes (deceased), was born in Deguciai, Lithuania, and passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2009 in Toronto. She will be forever remembered and loved for all her years of devotion to her family, her infinite capacity to share her life stories and desire to inspire those closest to her. Daughters Zita (Terry), Vivian (David), Anita (Mike) and grandchildren Stephanie, Alex, Ayrton, Justine, Andrew, Kristen and Carrera were fortunate to have shared those memories with this remarkable lady and inherit the gift for the life they radiate. A Queen's University graduate, teacher at Runnymede C.I. and tour guide at U of T's Robarts Library were some of her most cherished memories, displaying her zest for lifelong learning. A life so active, focused and robust, it culminated in her 80th year as an author of "Choices of a Teenager". What a rare and generous accomplishment. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Her thoughtful caring ways and pure acts of kindness will be but a dream for those who knew her. A life well lived is a life worth living. Friends and family may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere Ave., east of Jane subway, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. on Thursday. Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service to be held at Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2379 Lakeshore Blvd. W., Toronto on Friday, March 27, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment, St. John's Lithuanian Cemetery, Mississauga. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, Stroke Unit.

We will always remember your genuine kindness and compassion to us and to our children.Helmut always appreciated and enjoyed all the opportunities Tante Ella offered him so that he was able to demonstrate his passion for "fixing things".Tante Ella's grace and elegance were qualities obviously instilled in her three beautiful daughters.
