Ella Paul Obituary
In loving memory of Ella Paul, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at the age of 83. Ella was well loved by friends and family and will be remembered for her kindness and her spirit. She will be missed by all those whose hearts she touched. She is survived by her three daughters, Heidi, Barbara (Andy and Ginger) and Marianne (Fred). Beloved to her also were her companion Chris, Ana (Bruno, Lucas and Gabriel) and Mandana and the many friends who were dear to her. Ella had a vibrant personality and a kind and gentle way about her. She was a master tailor, avid gardener, passionate baker and angelic singer. A member of St. Patrick's Church and the Donauschwaben Club in Toronto, her giving and loving nature touched the hearts of many. Ella wanted her passing to be a celebration of her life, rather than an expression of sorrow. In that spirit, she requested that people not wear black at her funeral. The viewing will be at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West in Toronto, on Wednesday, February 24th from 2 – 4 and from 7 – 9 p.m. The service will be held on Thursday, February 25th, at 11 a.m. at the same location. At the family's request, donations in Ella's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. She was well loved by family and friends and will always remain in our hearts.

We will forever remember mother Ella as the wonderful lady with the biggest heart, always welcoming, no matter what the occasion. Ella, we could still hear you saying 'have another Annie, have some more' not realizing I've already had 2 plates of food for my bottomless pit!
