BRACCIALE, EMMA 1921 - 2023 Our dear Nonna, Emma Bracciale, gracefully and peacefully, passed away, on February 3, 2023, at the age of 101. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, who was always there with strength, encouragement and a delicious bowl of pasta. Emma was born to Nicola Emma and Rosa Emma (Bubbico) in Basilicata, Montescaglioso, Italy. She married in 1945 and immigrated to Canada in 1954 with her husband and daughter. She made friends easily, was a well-loved member of her neighbourhood and was known for her beautiful flower gardens. She was an independent and hard working fashionista, who loved opera, watching the news, Italian soccer and going on adventures with her granddaughter. Emma was one of ten children and will be reunited with her siblings, Giuseppe, Lucia, Maria, Domenico, Mauro, Dolorosa, Anna, Gemma and Francesco; husband, Francesco; and daughter, Annette. She will always be loved, remembered and terribly missed by her granddaughter, Leanne (Gordon) Cherry; great-grandchildren, Blake and Tristan; her son-in-law, Leslie (Lesia); and many other friends and family members. Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel, 2035 Weston Road, Toronto, ON, on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Leo's Roman Catholic Church, 277 Royal York Road, Etobicoke, ON, on Wednesday, February 8th, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.
