Oh Dr. Lahnsteiner what can I say. You where the best doctor in the whole world . Every specialist that you sent me to said I was the luckiest patient that I had the best caring doctor and that you always looked out for your patient's which I knew. And I miss you very much. I will never forget you and ty for always looking out for me. You gave me the strength to fight everything that was thrown at me. So thank you again. May you rest in peace

Having just learned of his passing, I immediately felt compelled to express my sincerest condolences to his dear family and friends. My wife and I were patients of Doctor Lahnsteiner from 1984 when we first arrived in Mississauga until 2017 when we retired to a distant community. We are grateful for the care and advice we received. He was the consummate medical professional. He is gone much too soon and will be sorely missed.

I was shocked to learn of the passing of Dr. Eric Lahnsteiner´s. He was my Doctor since the early eighties. Words cannot describe his empathy, kindness and genuine connection with his patients. He will be sadly missed and was one of a kind. My condolences to his family.

I was very shocked and saddened to learn of Dr. Eric Lahnsteiner´s passing. Unfortunately, that explains why such a dedicated doctor retired early due to illness.
He had been my family doctor along with my parents and sister for at least 30 years. He was instrumental in helping all of us detect early signs of more serious illness. I just wish my mother would've listened to his sage advice before she passed due to colon cancer. I just know that I won't find another family doctor at the same calibre, empathy and dedication as Dr. Lahnsteiner.
I wish his family my sincerest condolences and the knowledge that Dr. Lahnsteiner will be missed but never forgotten.

Very sad news to hear of Dr. Lahnsteiner´s illness and passing. He was my doctor since 1988! He was so kind, compassionate and very caring. He is irreplaceable and is deeply missed by myself and my daughter. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I was saddened by the news Dr. Lahnsteiner. He was our family Doctor for over 30 years. He took care of my Mom and Dad right up to their passings. With great care and personal touch. He was sympathetic and calm throughout.
He cared for most of my siblings and their families. I will never forget being at Trillium Queensway with my wife in labour with Ashley, he popped in at 7:00 am just to check on us to see if there was anything he could do to help. This was amazing and showed just much he cared for us all.
Dr. Lahnsteiner was one of a kind.
We miss him very much. Our deepest condolences to his wife and children and family and all of his co workers. He touched us all.

I was very very shocked and saddened to hear of Dr. Eric Lahnsteiner´s illness and recent passing. I came to know about Dr. Lahnsteiner through my sisters Christina Sawicki and Josephine Pereira. I never ever had the need to look for another doctor. Dr. Lahnsteiner was always very professional, courteous and never rushed you. He was always willing to answer questions about your illness and he explained everything very clearly, referred me to a specialist when necessary. My sons also were his patients and they too couldn´t believe the sad news. My mom too was his patient and he visited her in the hospital during her surgery - which was very significant because her other doctor never visited her when she suffered a bad fall. We, my family, sincerely mourn his passing and will never forget him.
Our sincere condolences to Mrs. Lahnsteiner and his family. May God bless you with the strength to accept your profound loss and carry on knowing that Doctor Lahnsteiner was well loved and respected by one and all in the community and we miss him very much. He was the best and will always be remembered with respect and affection.

My sincere condolences to the family, friends and coworkers of Dr. Lahnsteiner. He was our, much loved, family doctor since I was a child. Dr. Lahnsteiner took exceptional care of not just my family, but my parents, brothers, uncle, aunt and cousins. He was such a warm and compassionate Dr. He will be greatly missed.

I had the pleasure of growing up around Eric and working serving gas for his Dad who taught me a very important life lesson after missing a shift or two. My favourite memory was when he took Jeffer Columbus and I down to the Georgetown Drag races in his brand new Maverick GT probably around 1972. Before driver´s licenses we´d snowmobile after school (again with Jeffer or Fred) and Eric on his fast Skiroule !
We even cleaned out Jeffer´s back shed chickens and all to play cards and overnight beside the fields (now the subdivision) during summer holidays.

My heart goes out to the family of Dr Lahnsteiner, Dr L was such a great man, and a caring Doctor that was respected and loved by 99.99% of his patient`s I could talk about him all night but you know who he was and what he did, and there are thousands of people who are thinking of you all. I will miss him dearly, maybe one day we will meet again.Goodnight Eric Lahnsteiner M.D ,rest in peace.
