Eric MAJOR Obituary

MAJOR, Eric Ernest - November 26, 1921 - January 1, 2014 Oakwood Collegiate (1940); University of Toronto, Engineering 1946; Electrical Engineer, Ontario Power Generation; 4th Willowdale Scouting; St. George's, St. Patrick's Anglican Churches. Eric passed away peacefully in his 93rd year. Predeceased by precious loved ones: his wife Doreen (nee Roy), his sister Mary (Keena), his daughter Elizabeth. Dear brother of George (Mary). Loving father of Susan Wevers (Robert), Douglas (Carolyn), Catherine Grilo (Carl), Margaret McGibbon (Michael). Devoted grandfather of Jennifer Major-Wilson (Mark), Scott (Shannon) and Mark Wevers, Katie Major-Austin (Jamie), Ted and Andy Grilo, Julie and Karyn McGibbon and great-grandfather of Nathan and Emily Wevers. A Graveside Memorial will take place in early May. A donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, 20 Victoria St., 5th floor, Toronto, ON, M5C 2N8 or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

My most sincere condolences on your profound loss. May your fond memories of Eric sustain you in your time of sorrow.

I have so many happy memories of the Major family and was unaware that Liz had passed away. I was stunned when I learned of this today.
