It is with great sadness we mourn the loss of "Poppa Wheelie" as our kids knew Willy during the early years at the lake. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all. Know that he is in a better place and at peace. Remember the good times and relish the memories.

I've been trying to do this for days now and no matter what I do, I can't seem to get my words to express what my heart feels; there are no words.
Its funny, both my sisters and my kids always called him "Uncle Willy", I would always smile and correct them "Its cousin Willy" I'd said. It didn't matter, they always stuck with Uncle and now I realize why. Like an uncle, he was warm, cuddly, teased in a fun way. He was everything an uncle should be. Next time when my kids or my sisters talk about Uncle Willy, there will be no more correcting .... an Uncle he will forever be.
