I fondly remember Mr. Ernest Brown in the 1960's. He was my grade 11 English teacher and taught us all a greater appreciation of language. He also inspired with his expertise the success of the late John Candy, who under his wing Neil McNeil won the best drama for a high school at the Waterloo festival. A wonderful human being and educator. My condolences to his family.

Forty years ago Ernie Brown trusted me to be Stage Manager for the "The Mouse that Roared." The skills he taught me, and the confidence that I gained from the experience, helped shape the rest of my life.
You were a good man Mr Brown. RIP.
