ETHEL DONALDSON Obituary

ETHEL MARGARET DONALDSON (nee McLURE) Passed away on May 1, 2016 at The Village of Riverside Glen, Guelph, at the age of 91 years. She was the beloved wife of the late William (1980). Proud mother of Charron, William (Paula) and John (Lorrie). Cherished Nana of Whitney, William, Andrea and Emily (Brad). Great-grandma of Ryann, Teagan, Finnian, Aidan, Kian, Noah, Elijah, Connor, Boston, Avery, Cole, Carter and Lilly. Ethel was a passionate Registered Nurse for many years and a sports enthusiast who enjoyed cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs. Cremation has taken place. The family will be hosting a celebration of life in late August 2016. Please look for updates on the funeral home website. Donations to CNIB or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. We remember Ethel fondly as one of the original walkers at Scarborough Town Centre. We enjoyed her good sense of humour and her friendly smile & wave.

Tyler and I were just remembering "Fluellen" last week. A special memory and link between Ethel and myself, she said, "we are the out-laws", always made me laugh when her and I would be sitting on the floor at the family functions. Take care and remember to share your grief, it truly helps.
