ETHEL HAMILTON Obituary

ETHEL HAMILTON Passed away peacefully at the Hellenic Home in Scarborough on January 12, 2015 at the age of 104. Ethel (nee Hughdie) came to Canada with her husband Robbie in 1928 and settled in East York. Wife of the late Robert Hamilton, she was preceded in death by two of her sons, Lloyd and Austin. She is survived by Don and his wife Hazel, Victor and his wife Shirley, daughter-in-law Dorothy, ten grandchildren and twenty- three great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family in Toronto, Kentucky, Texas and Northern Ireland. Visitation is at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Friday, January 23rd between 2 and 4 in the afternoon and 7 and 9 in the evening. Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. at the Milliken Wesleyan Methodist Church, 3 Clayton Dr. in Markham. One hour of visitation (10 - 11 a.m.) will precede the service. Interment will be at St. John's Norway Cemetery. Special thanks to the nurses and PSWs at the Hellenic Home for their wonderful care these past seven years. Our loss is Heaven's gain.

Mrs. Hamilton,along side her husband were very much loved and a part of our lives as we grew up at Amroth Wesleyan Church. We fondly remember their prayers and testimonies before us. May the God of all comfort surround the family during this loss of a dear Mother and Grand Mother who has gone home to Heaven to be with Jesus.
