HELLER, Eunice - Passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at her home. Beloved wife of Mickey Heller. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Mark and Barbara, David and Varda in Israel, Steven and Denyse, and Lisa Glassman in Toronto. Dear sister of the late Meilech, Charlie, Morris, and Joseph. Devoted grandmother of Miriam and Gil, Itai and Naomi, Aron and Jerrin, Ami, Daniel and Laura, Jaime, Jordana, Cory, Rachelle, and great-grandmother of Matan, Hadar, Nitsan, Maya, Tom, Lia, Dafna, and Yotam. At Beth Tzedec Congregation, 1700 Bathurst Street (south of Eglinton) for service on Tuesday, January 31st at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Beth Tzedec Memorial Park. Shiva at 645 Castlefield Avenue, in the Reception Room. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Friends of Israel Guide Dog Centre For The Blind 416-577-3600 or at www.ca.israelguidedog.org

My aunt Eunice was instrumental in helping me get settled in school, etc. when I,age ll and my family arrived in Canada in l948, post-WW2, and gave me a Canadian name (Janet). She was even then, while in her middle twenties,helping us manage things. Stanley and I will miss her.
