Perhaps they are not
stars in the sky,
but rather openings
where our loved ones
shine down
to let us know they
are happy.

She was a "Great" Aunt in more ways than one and we will miss her dearly. Our thoughts are with you guys.

Thank you for giving us this opportunity to say our goodbyes to our favorite Canadian Granny - Eva. We were lucky to spend many wonderful summers with her over the years. She treated Nicole and Paul like her own grandchildren. Granny Eva did not have a bad bone in her entire body. She was a special, wonderful and classy lady. We are fortunate to have many wonderful memories of her. Barbara, Graceanne and Rocky - we are sorry for your loss, but we know that Granny would have said thanks for everything and let's have a cup of tea. We send you all our love.

Eva will be sadly missed by everyone she has touched these many years. Although I met her later in life, she always had a welcome and an interest in the lives of those connected to her pride and joy, her family. Eva - we will miss your smile at family gatherings but wish you great joy on your never ending journey.

Mom,
I hope that you know how very much I love you, and how proud I have always been to be your daughter. You were the best mother EVER.
It broke my heart all these months watching you have to work so hard to get better when you should have been just relaxing and having a cup of tea. You never complained. But some good did come of it. We got to see you every day and spend time with you. I got to say a lot of things to you, like how much you meant to me, many times. Even though you weren't happy when we had to help you - it gave us the chance to do a little for you, when you've done so much for us. You spoiled all of us.
I will miss you every day. I don't know what I'm going to do without you, and I just can't believe I'll never see that happy look on your face whenever you saw me. I hope you are in Heaven in YOUR mother's arms. Give a kiss to Daddy and Grandma for me.
Love, Graceanne
