Fernando MARTINO Obituary

MARTINO, Fernando April 26, 1926 - November 12, 2017 Fernando passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the Trillium Health Centre in Etobicoke at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Rubina Martino. Loving father of Mike (Bonnie), Tony (Barb), Bruno (Gayla) and Clementina (Frank Roberto). Fernando will be fondly remembered by his 13 grandchildren - Michael, Stephen (Kyla), Jeffrey, David, Julia, Daniel, Megan, Katy, Remy, Fernando, Anthony, Fernando and Frankie. Fernando arrived in Canada in 1954 with his new bride, Rubina by his side. Together they carved out a successful living in Toronto and will be remembered for their generosity and also for being the founders of Mamma Martino's Restaurant on The Queensway. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday November 16th at Holy Angels Church (61 Jutland Rd., Etobicoke) at 10:00 a.m. Private family entombment service to follow.
