FRANK GRECO This gentle and kind man answered when Christ came knocking at the door on March 16, 2011 in his 69th year. He will be sorely missed by Pina, his devoted and loving wife of 44 years. He was a caring father of Francis (Lauren Holly), Carla (Nelson Tavares), Laura (Brian Kearney), as well as a cherished 'Nonno' to Alexander, George, Henry, Charles, Sabrina, Ariane, Anthony, Joshua and Kate. Frank was an extraordinary man who was never preoccupied with temporal affairs, but instead devoted his life to serving the Lord with humility, compassion and love. Like Pope John Paul II, Frank taught us how to suffer in quiet humility, grace and dignity as he had always offered his lengthy suffering unto the Lord. Frank was a tailor whose faithful roster of customers respected him and treasured his craft. Frank and Pina were always grateful to Doctors Kevin Imrie, Melitta Mezody and Simon Colla for their excellent care and compassion. Family and friends will be received at Vescio Funeral Home, 8101 Weston Road, Woodbridge; Saturday, March 19, 6-9 p.m. and Sunday, March 20, 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at 12:00 p.m. Monday, March 21st at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 150 St. Francis Avenue, Woodbridge. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Food For Children and/or Village of Hope - Children of Tanzania with HIV.
