FRANK A. WRIGHT Owner/CEO Colt Automation Ltd. Died peacefully at home on Monday, April 19, 2010 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Cora, children and many grandchildren, brothers and sisters in Ireland, US and Canada. Born in Inchicore, Dublin, Ireland on June 15, 1937. Frank was the 5th of 10 children, the second son of the late Lily Irene and William Wright. He left Ireland at a young age and joined the Merchant Navy with the Irish Shipping Co. and migrated to Canada in 1963. A devoted, loving and patient father, he faced many challenges in life; however, overcame all these, by maintaining his Irish sense of humour and a strong faith in God. Frank was a humanitarian and supported charitable organization locally and abroad. He was an active member of the 65 Roses, a trademark of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He was also a proud member of the Ireland Supporters Club, an avid golf player and a world traveler. An astute and competitive businessman, he successfully built Colt Automation Ltd. and competed in the international manufacturing market. The measure of Frank's life is not the wealth or material things he left behind; rather, the many kind words and beautiful memories shared by people, whose lives he touched and those who touched his. Frank indeed left his mark in our hearts. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter 'Neweduk-Erin Mills' Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy.) from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 2473 Thorn Lodge Dr., Mississauga on Friday, April 23, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment Mount Peace Cemetery, Mississauga. For those who wish, donations in Frank's memory may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
