Frederick Malcolm Roberts

ROBERTS, Frederick Malcolm - Peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, in his 80th year at the Toronto East General Hospital after a brief illness. Frederick is survived by his loving wife Helen, daughter Sonya, son-in-law John, brother Thomas and sister-in-law Bette of St. Catharines, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Frederick is predeceased by his parents Florence Genevieve and Thomas Melville, and brother Dr. John 'Jack' Roberts. There will be a private family committal. A Celebration of His Life will take place at a later date. Frederick was a long-time employee of the Canadian Press, spending time in their London, Toronto and Ottawa offices. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated.
