ALLAN, Gary Daniel - It is with profound sadness that the Allan family announces the passing of their husband and father on Friday, January 10, 2014, at the age of 80 years. Husband of Wanda (nee Vandewater) of 61 years. Dear father of Jane and her husband Gary Monson, Adrian and his wife Marie Andrée Bernier, Amy and her husband Jeff Farrugia, and son- in-law Bill MacNeill. Predeceased by his son Darrell, and daughter Lee MacNeill. Beloved grandfather of Jason, Brad and his wife Christina, the late Ryan, Nathan and his wife Nina, Jordan, Amanda, Devan, Daniel, Renée, Tracy and her husband Matt, Dane, Lillian, Deirdre and Lance. Adored great-grampa of Kara, Lindsay, Christopher, Quentin, Isla, Annika, Rylan and Liam. Gary was a dedicated 37 year employee of Air Canada. Heartfelt thank you to Dr. O'Sullivan and Dr. Karam and the caring staff at Princess Margaret Hospital. Visitation will be held at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Blvd.) on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
