At 70+ years old, Gary's mind was as sharp as a teenager. Gary had this signature smile that made you smile back even though you were having a bad day.
I had known Gary from my volunteering years at Rogers Cup tennis tournament. But the summer of 2013 was special. Gary won the Best Volunteer of The Year award and he gave me a great advice. He said, "Never stop making good turns." (always give your best).
Rest in peace, Gary.

Every summer I look forward to driving for the Rogers Cup Tennis tournament. It's always so nice to catch up with friends from previous years that you perhaps only see for those 10 days of driving. Gary was one of those people, a big hug, a lovely smile and always wanted to know how you'd been, I felt I'd known him all my life. A true gentleman, I will miss him greatly.
My thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.

In my 17 years volunteering at Tennis Canada, Gary was someone I looked forward to seeing every year. He always had the right thing to say to put everyone at ease, even when the going got tough. I will certainly miss him, as will many others that have been fortunate to meet him.
Rest in peace, Gary.

We are so sad to hear of Gary's passing. Gary was married to my cousin Bridgette and from the moment we met him we knew he was a true gentleman. He was always very loving and generous toward his family and and friends. My husband and I loved being in his company. He will be missed and remembering him will make us smile.

I have known Gary for many years partly through playing tennis in Scarborough and most recently as a fellow volunteer with the Roger's Tennis tournament. As a hugely popular part of our Transportation team Gary was a one of kind. He was a funny, charming and dependable man with a heart of gold.
You will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Rest in Peace.

I met Gary 16 years ago through Tennis Canada and even though we worked together for only 10 days per year, he came across as a man who I have known all my life. His work ethic equalled no other I've ever come across and he was THE MOST genuine person that I have ever met. He was truly a gentleman in every sense of the word and for this I am grateful to have known him. Rest peacefully my sweet kind and compassionate friend;my thoughts and prayers go out to his family....love you Mr. Beaumont!

I only knew Gary from our annual get-togethers as volunteers for the Rogers Cup tennis tournament in Toronto, but if he carried the same enthusiasm, energy and cheerful spirit, that I experienced working with him, into the other areas of his life, then you were truly blessed to know him.
Rest In Peace Gary

How sad to hear that Gary has passed away. He was a true gentleman and I was honoured to partner him in our Senior Tennis Tournaments. Always a good sport and so gracious in victory or defeat. I will truly miss him.

I knew Gary and Tom since boyhood (10 - 16,17). I later bumped into Gary at Thorncliffe Bowling Allies in the 80's. We chatted while he was bowling on many evenings. Great memories. Gary was a fine young man and later a good family man. My condolences to the family.
