Gary Fulford Obituary

GARY LEE FULFORD (Past President of Lexcor and Lexcan) With irreparable grief we advise that after a year's valiant battle, Gary succumbed to the ravages of brain cancer on March 18, 2011 at age 51. He passed at home surrounded by his family and friends. Adored husband of Christine for 24 years and beloved father of Lee and Cory. Cherished son of Barbara and David Fulford, he is also survived by his three devoted sisters Gail Cornelius, Susan and Dava. Loved and admired son- in-law of Adeline and Phil Van der Meeren and sisters-in-law Anne (Paul Hansen) and Marian (Dave Dorman), brothers-in-law Guido, Jan (Janine), Luc (Sue). He will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews as well as many cousins and numerous friends. The family is very grateful for the prayers and support given by all far and wide. After receiving his MBA, Gary assumed control of his father's company and was very successful. He extended the cliental from North America and Europe to the Middle East. A close relationship to his staff aided in maintaining the well- established reputation of his company among his peers. Visitation will be at Brampton Memorial Chapel & Visitation Centre (10061 Chinguacousy Rd. at Bovaird), 905-460-9155, on Friday, March 25, 2011 from 5-9 p.m. A Funeral service will be in the chapel on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 2 p.m. with reception following. If so inclined, in lieu of flowers, donations to The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice in memory of Gary would be appreciated.

The years have gone by but never a day has gone by that I have not thought of my Gary. I miss the strength, support and love that he gave me every day. I miss being his "sunshine". It has often been a struggle these years but I try and remember his attitude in life which was living in the present and not dwell on what can't be changed. Miss your spirit Fully.

Gary, a true lover of life and all its' beauties and opportunities to learn. Few knew of the depth of your love, sensitivity and courage. You hid your feelings well to protect others. You personify "stalwart". Your initial family's love for you is fathomless. Every day is just another day. Memories are still too painful.Part of our hearts will be always yours. Bye Fully,
I always envisioned growing old with the man of my dreams. You've left such a void in my life. If it wasn't for the support of friends and family I don't know how I would go on. All the love I've received is a real testament to you.
I miss you.
Love you always,
Chris

Gary was the son-in-law every parent dreams of for his/her daughter. He was smart, witty, considerate, helpful and always ready with his dry humor. We admired and loved Gary. It was a real privilege to have him in our family for 25 years. Thanks Barbara and David for this privilege. If there ever was a gentleman it was Gary. Good bye GENTLE MAN

Thanks, Gary for being a wonderful friend. I'll miss your hospitality, your good humor and your silly grin. The world simply isn't the same without you here. It's not ok that your gone, but we will be ok - eventually.

Dear Aunt Chris, Lee & Cory,
Uncle Gary was never afraid to crawl around on the floor with 'us kids' and he always let me dance on his feet. I was lucky enough to be a flower girl at the wedding of the century. He helped me blow out the candles on my 12th birthday when you all were down visiting. I am lucky that I got to spend time with Uncle Gary last year during our visit. I know that if we were to have lived closer, we would have been great friends. I love you guys.
