MCGOWAN, Gary Ronald - Passed away after a lengthy illness with family by his side. Loving husband to Sylvia of 56 years. Predeceased by his dear daughter Karon. Beloved father of Brett and his wife Sylvia. Devoted papa of Sarah, Paige and Brooke. Gary was a long time employee of CN Railway for 29 years and the proud owner of Bayview Trailer Park, Wasaga Beach for 25 years. Family and friends will be received at SCOTT FUNERAL HOME - GEORGIAN CHAPEL, 264 Burton Ave., Barrie, ON, 705-737-2040, on Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 2-6 p.m. and Monday, December 5, 2011 from 12-1 p.m. at Glendale Visitation Centre, 1810 Albion Rd., Toronto, ON, 416-679-1803. Chapel Service to follow at 1 p.m. Burial Glendale Cemetery. In Gary's memory, donations to Collingwood General & Marine Hospital would be appreciated.
