GEOFFREY BOWEN Obituary

GEOFFREY JOHN BOWEN Peacefully on Sunday, February 12, 2017 in his 91st year in Brampton. He is survived by his loving wife Joan of 66 years. Geoffrey was predeceased by his son David; survived by his children Barbara (Vito) and Anne; by his grandchildren Christina, Lesley, Diana, Kelly and Andrew; and by his great- grandson Maxen. Geoffrey will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to Scott Funeral Home - Brampton Chapel (289 Main Street North, 905-451-1100). There will be no memorial services held at this time. In lieu of flowers, please forward condolences to Geoffrey's online guestbook at scottbrampton.ca

This time a year I normally hear from Jeff and Joan..when I didn't hear from them this year I knew something was wrong so I searched online and I found out the tragic news..I really liked him although our friendship was brief he was a kind man with a sense of humour very charismatic.
It was early in the spring when I first met Jeff he needed his grass cut so I help them out him and his wife Joan are such sweet charming people I am happy to have known you both.

I write this with a heavy heart, having just learned of Geoff's passing. He and I were dear friends going back to our days at Avro Aircraft, and then our many, many years in the furniture business. He was a gentleman in the truest sense of the word. I am honoured to have called him my friend, and I know he will be missed by many.

My deepest condolences to Joan and the family. May he rest in peace.
