GEOFFREY FELLOWES Obituary

FELLOWES, GEOFFREY RICHARD 1948 - 2021 Passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021, at Southlake Hospital, Newmarket with his family at his side, after a brief illness. He is survived by his sons Jason, Sergey and Alex as well as his partner of 35 years, Wendy Wain. He will be missed by all, including his sisters Barbara Hills (Brian), Lani Fellowes and his brother Charles Fellowes (Majda) as well as his nieces Erin, Alaina, Angela, April and nephew Geoffrey. Geoff was an elementary school teacher in Simcoe County and York Region for more than 50 years, both in the classroom and as a librarian. His love of reading included books on a wide variety of subjects, and among his favourite pastimes was to spend a few pleasant hours reading news and current affairs publications. Geoff was an accomplished handyman who also enjoyed cooking and tinkering with cars. In addition to his family, Geoff's passions were his Puli dogs, bargain hunting and escaping to his cottage in Honey Harbour. He will be remembered by all those who knew him as somewhat of an entertainer who loved to tell a funny story or a good joke. A celebration of Geoff's life will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory can be made to Diabetes Canada or Parkinson Canada. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, Newmarket, Ontario.
