SMITH, Geoffrey Alan "Geoff" November 6, 1933-August 17, 2018 It is with solemn hearts we announce the sudden passing of Geoff at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital on Friday, August 17, 2018 in his 85th year. He is survived by his daughters Vanessa (Flavio), Tracy (Wes) and Sandra (Alex), as well as his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Hannah (nee Clarke) and his son Geoffrey Jr. Geoff was the loving son of Joseph and Elsie (nee Robinson) who have passed away many years ago, along with his brother Don and not to forget, Noodles, his loving dog of long ago. Geoff is also survived by his cat Pepper. Geoff enjoyed life and spent his free time woodworking and playing golf with Hannah. He had a passion for dancing, which he continued to do in the local clubs up until his death. Geoff dedicated his life to helping others, first as a Metro Police Officer for 29 years, then 18 years at Scotiabank and 14 years at The Home Depot (Oshawa). As per Geoff's wishes, there will be no service and cremation has taken place. His ashes will be thrown to the four winds so he may travel to meet Hannah and the rest of his family and of course Noodles.
