GEORGE GRANT COOPER Grant passed away suddenly on January 31, 2017, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (Chapman) and loving father of David, Ann (Doug Westlake), the late Kathy (Tony Falsitta) and Paul (Lynda Rodych). Grandfather of Jordan (Melissa), Troy (Kate), Michael, Stephanie, Spencer (Katie), Mark and Alex. Great- grandfather of Nathan and his sibling due in March. Grant graduated P.Eng from University of Toronto, was the founder and President of Unitel Ltd. and an active member of The Rotary Club of Scarborough for many years. In his later years, he was also an active 48th Highlander Veteran in Markham. A memorial service will be held at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Rd., Scarborough, at 12 noon, Saturday, February 11th. A lunch reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions to The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
