George DAVIES

DAVIES, George Passed away peacefully, at Caressant Care Nursing Home, McLaughlin Site, Lindsay, on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, in his 92nd year. George was a retired police officer from Toronto Police Services after 30 years of service. He then became a professor at Seneca College, teaching policing for another 12 years. Veteran of the Korean War serving in the Royal Canadian Navy. George was the beloved husband of Anne Davies of Lindsay. Dear father of Kimberly and her husband, Chris, Sandra and her husband, Jan. Remembered by his grandchildren. Remembered by his stepchildren, Larry Hachey (Barb Greiner), Dina Hachey, Elaine Dament, and Sharon Hachey (James Ozols). Remembered by his stepgrandchildren. Predeceased by his sister, Glenna French; and brother, James Davies. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 31 Russell Street East, Lindsay, on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Lindsay.
