DIMITRAKOPOULOS, George - Peacefully on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Providence Healthcare in his 82nd year. Dearly loved husband of Linda. Beloved father to Thanos (Josie), Mark (Tracy), John (Vicki) and Sandra (Jamie). Very proud Pappou to Daniel, Alexander, Nicholas, Rebecca, Stephen, Christopher, Benjamin, Meghan and Samantha. Special thanks to Dr. Gabor and staff at both Scarborough Grace and Providence Healthcare. Family and friends will be received at the HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME Scarborough Chapel, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E. (west of Warden Ave.), 416-773-0933, on Monday, May 7, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church, 11359 Warden Ave., Markham, on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
