George Giulekas Obituary
GIULEKAS, George - After a brief illness, at the William Osler Health Centre Etobicoke Campus on August 25th, 2009 in his 89th year. Dear husband of Sofia. Loving father of Mary Van Arkadie and her husband Malcolm and Christine Tremblay. Grandpa will be fondly remembered and forever loved by Kathleen and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home 'Woodbridge Chapel', 7776 Kipling Ave., at Hwy. 7 (due to temporary closure at Hwy. 7 and Kipling Ave., access the funeral home via Martingrove Rd. or lslington Ave. and follow detour signs) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, August 28th in the Chapel at 9:30 a.m. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens. If you desire, donations to the W.O.H.C. Etobicoke Campus would be appreciated by the family.

We are very sorry to hear of the passing of our dear friend and neighbour of more than 30 years. Uncle George was the best neighbour anyone could ask for, and will be greatly missed. We will remember him as a kind, warm, friendly gentleman, who was always there to help, with the garden or pruning our pear tree, or hedges.
Our sincerest condolences go out to Aunt Sophia, his children and grand daughter.
May God have mercy on his Soul .
