As a long-time friend of your family we are so sorry for your loss. Hold on tight to your dad's memories, he is watching us.
Our streets were safer in more ways than one.
Our family lived on Laurelcrest, he was a cop who lived on Laurelcrest.
Wouldn't you know it there was a stop sign right outside his home.
Everyone had to make a full stop at that stop sign. . . Or else!
I am one of the many people your father touched during his life. I can't help but smile on the inside when I think about the legacy he is leaving behind. I like to think that the values and lessons that he taught his children (and his children's friends) will influence lives over generations.

Fond memories of George when I lived next door on Laurelcrest. A splendid neighbour, always at the ready if I needed help of any sort. My sympathy to the family on the loss of a fine gentleman.

Fondly remembering George II(the Boss)(McGoo) for the visits and words of "encouragement" at Old City Hall from a young copper who carried the same first name proudly.
