WORTZMAN, GEORGE On Sunday, December 23, 2018, George Wortzman, beloved husband of 67 years to Glory. Loving father and father-in-law of Ricki Wortzman and Alan Bardikoff, David and Jenny, Jim Wortzman and Jaimie Robins, Marnie Wortzman and Tom Glas and Robert and Carrie. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Arthur and Adele and the late Eleanor and Howard Silver. Devoted grandfather of Carly, Nicole and Richard, Eli, Tess, Lindsay, Jessica and J.P., Rebecca, Lucas, Zachary, Jared, Nathan, Tori, Abby, Jonah, Annie, Sam and Sophie. George was formerly Chief of Radiology at Mt. Sinai Hospital and President of The American Society of Neuroradiology, he was a remarkable man, a dedicated friend who left a lasting impact on all who knew him. At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West, Toronto (3 lights west of Dufferin) for service on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in the Temple Sinai section of Pardes Shalom cemetery. Shiva at 85 Skymark Drive, Toronto. Memorial donations may be made to The Radiology Department, c/o Mt. Sinai Foundation, 416-586-8203.
