Gerald Rudman Obituary
October 4, 1935 - December 10, 2016
On Saturday, December 10, 2016, Gerry, devoted husband to Shirley for 59 years passed away peacefully at home. Gerry leaves behind his children Marty, Mitchell (Susan) and Christine (David). In addition, he leaves behind his grandchildren: Chris (Devra), Ally (Jeremy), Lewis, Violet, Henry, Anne, Isabel, Ben, Ruby as well as Lucas, his first great-grandchild. Not mentioned by name are the countless others who affectionately referred to Gerry as Poppa or Uncle. Gerry had a great sense of fun. His presence turned all occasions into a party. Funeral services to be held at Ogden Funeral Home located at 4164 Sheppard Ave. East. Visitation on Wednesday, December 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and funeral on December 15th at 11 a.m.

I am so sad to believe that Uncle Gary has had to leave us. Tom and I will miss him so much. He is Tom's favourite uncle and a powerhouse, positive person! We are all less without him. I am grateful to have had him in my life. I will pray for Uncle Gary, for Aunt Shirley, Marty, Mitchell and Christine and all of their children. XOX

It was extremely sad news to hear his passing. Great father to Christine, a wonderful grandfather to my girls (Anne, Isabel and Ruby) and an amazing father-in-law and friend. Just a larger than life human being. My thoughts are with the entire Rudman clan.

My children had the pleasure of having 3 grandfathers - Papa Gerry was a big part of our family. He was my second father as well. He will be missed by so many people. I will never forget how fun loving, funny and generous he was. Love you Gerry. xoxo
