I am deeply saddened to learn of Gerard's passing. We were close friends at Lakehead and at IBM in the late 70s and early 80s. Gerard always had a smile for those around him and his quick wit and cheerfulness will remain with me for the rest of my days. I miss you.

My memories of Gerard are bowling at Ace Bowling Centre at the Golden Mile Plaza. He was a Junior and a very good bowler. We had some fun times, with the old gang, Jack, Henry, Al running the league. My fondest memory was our date. He took me to a concert at the CNE grounds, The Who, I think it was. We had fun that day. I have often thought of Gerard over the years and am very sadden to hear of his passing.

My deepest sympathies to his family, he will be deeply missed.

It's with great sadness that I learned of Gerard's passing.

Many of the Laurier crowd knew him. He attended the 2008 Laurier Reunion, which had him reconnect with his old friends.

He will be missed.

Gerard was my first real love ... the one love you never forget or completely get over. I have so many incredibly special memories of the years we shared together in our early 20's and I will cherish them always. I am deeply saddened and still in shock that he is gone. I remember him being so filled with life ... always quick to laugh and always there for his family and friends. He will be missed. To the entire Duggan family ... especially Mr & Mrs Duggan and Kathy who always treated me like family and who I remember with much affection ... please accept on behalf of my parents, my brother and myself our deepest sympathies for your loss. For many years Gerard was a part of our family and we all loved him. Our hearts and prayers go out to you. With much love and affection ... Dawn, Sheila, Don and Steve Rowe
