GIOVANNA MELINO Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, February 4, 2017. Giovanna arrived to Toronto on February 12, 1957 from her hometown of Panni, Foggia, Italy to join her husband and to build a new life, future and family. Beloved wife to Santo and loving mother to Joe (Anna), Marie, Ralph and Nino (Sheetal). Proud Nonna to Michael, Joanna, Alessia, Anthony, Haylie, Matthew, Connor and Jaiden. Loving sister of Antonio and Delia Rainone. Giovanna will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. Her vibrant spirit and strength will be remembered by many. So sad to hear of Giovanna's passing. She was an awesome lady, always happy when we saw each other. She'd always grab my curls and call me sant' Anton'. I will truly miss her.
