IANNACCI, GIOVANNI (JOHN) It is with great sadness that the Iannacci family announces the passing of its patriarch in his 89th year, on September 26, 2022, peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband for over 60 years, he leaves behind his dear and loving wife, Luisa. Cherished father to Anna (Domenic Primucci), Gilda and Paola (Danny Battista). Proud Nonno of Joseph, Daniel (Renée), Luca (Valentina), Stephanie, Gregory, Robert; and great-grandfather to Domenico, Massimo and Simona. Predeceased by his grandson, Gianluca; and brothers-in-law, Aurelio and Sergio. Giovanni is survived by his sisters, Pina and Eleonora; and sisters-in-law, Annita (Tommaso Miscione) and Silvia. A dear zio, cousin and friend, he will be missed by his nieces and nephews and their families. He will also be missed by his dedicated caregivers, Joanne and Jane. The family is especially moved and grateful for the wonderful support of Dr. Bianca Petrut, Dr. Erick Ling and Dr. Phillip Fingrut. Friends will be received at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home at 211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill, ON, L3T 3Z6, on Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Chapel of St. Joseph at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 12 noon. Interment will be private.
