We will always remember her great sense of humor and sharp wit. Our fondest memories are enjoying Swiss Chalet chicken dinners with lots of good conversation!

Gladys was the youngest of five children born to George and Agnes MacDonald of MacClennan, Ontario, near Sault Ste. Marie. After leaving the Sault she lived in Bruce Mines and eventually moved to the Toronto area. She lived for over 20 years at Thomson Court in Markham, Ontario, before moving into Bethany Lodge in Unionville, two years ago..
Although she never had children of her own, she was a favourite Aunt and Great Aunt.
She enjoyed a rewarding career in Office Administration until her retirement.
She loved baseball, the theatre, reading and always enjoyed a joke. She was interested in everything right up until her death.
Gladys was a great friend to many and she had many great friends who were there for her and went the extra mile for her when she needed them.
Gladys was predeceased by her two brothers, Russell and Austin and two sisters, Ethel and Pearl and her husband Russell Hamilton, who was the love of her life.
Gladys is lovingly remembered by her nephew Barry Smith, his wife Colleen and their children Shelley, Barry jr., Matthew (Mary) and Jessica
