GLADYS HARPER Obituary

HARPER, GLADYS EUGENIE (nee MORGAN) In Loving Memory We bid farewell to Gladys Harper (nee Morgan), a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, a true friend and beacon of light, who departed from this world on September 17, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness. Gladys walked through life with a gentle strength, touching the lives of everyone who encountered her with an unforgettable grace. Gladys was an advocate for helping others during her extensive nursing career, dedicating her time and resources to making the world a brighter place. A lover of travelling the world, cooking, gardening and a keen eye of fashion. Gladys found beauty in life's simple moments and encouraged us all to do the same. Gladys leaves behind Keith (husband), Michael (son), Andrew (grandson), and sisters, Olive and Lena. We welcome all who knew her to join us in celebrating the life of a woman who was loved deeply and will be missed. To commemorate her remarkable life and the memories we cherish, a service will be held at Demarco Funeral Home, Toronto, on Saturday, September 29, 2024, 1-4 p.m.

Memories of Gladys are many.
She loved enjoying life. We enjoyed many work parties together .and of course we always had a Great time at her home when she and Keith hosted the annual ICU Summer Barbecue for MANY years. She loved to dance and literally danced to the end of every party she attended.
Gladys was very vibrant and a Good Hardworking Nurse,.She will always be very much alive in our memories.

Thank you for letting me know about Gladys. We worked together at TGH from 1978-1999. Gladys was a wonderful nurse and colleague who always had a beautiful smile, fabulous laugh and loved to dance to keep us awake during long night shifts. Gladys was a mentor and friend. Thinking of you with warm regards as you grieve. Sincerely, Risa
