GROWING UP ALWAYS ENJOYED GLENDA'S FRIENDLY SMILE AS I PASSED HER PINK HOUSE. LATER IN LIFE MY HUSBAND & I WELCOMED GLENDA INTO OUR HOME FOR PIANO LESSONS WITH OUR DAUGHTER. REST IN PEACE GLENDA -HEAVEN HAS GAINED A NEW ANGEL.

My 4 children loved her one of a kind beautiful character. Glenda never forgot a child from her school and enjoyed seeing and encouraging her former students as they married and had families. Always kind always genuine & sincere. The world lost an earth angel.

Ms. Varty was an incredible music teacher and musician. In elementary school, we referred to her as the mad pianist, as she played with such passion and heart. It's been more than 23 years since I've seen her, but she has always been in my thoughts. A true musical genius, she inspired many of us to love music. Ms. Varty, you will be greatly missed.
