GLORIA CUERVO Obituary
CUERVO, GLORIA (nee ALVES) Gloria Cuervo of St. Thomas, passed peacefully, on Friday, October 14, 2022, at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Cuervo. Dearly loved "Sissy B" of Marie Cuervo, Angela Campbell (Terry), Tony Cuervo (Marjorie), Lorna Charley (late Max), Donna Cuervo and the late Eleanor Lewin. Cherished sister of Ivy Alves. Loved "Mama C" to several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Gloria was born in Jamaica on June 4, 1922, daughter of the late Hugh and Beatrice (Douse) Alves. She was a longtime member of St. Anne's Parish, St. Thomas. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne's Parish on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Entombment of ashes to follow in South Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Covenant House. Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas, entrusted with arrangements.
