JOCKHECK, Gloria Patricia (nee SMITH) June 4, 1939 - July 6, 2018 Peacefully on July 6, 2018 at St. Peter's Hospital, Gloria Patricia Jockheck (nee Smith) passed away in her 80th year, beloved wife to predeceased husband Walter. Adored daughter of predeceased Alfred Smith, Valerie Smith (nee Edwards) and sister of the late David Smith and Paul Smith. Loving mother to David, Richard (Kathy) and Monica, adored grandmother (Omi) to Paul, Hope, Tiffany, Faith and Michael. Sister-in-law to predeceased Wilhelm (Bill), sister-in-law Edith, brother-in-law Herbert, sister-in-law Gerda (Richard) and sister-in-law Herta (Alfred). A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Peter's Hospital for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville on Wednesday, July 11th from 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the same location on Thursday, July 12th at 11 a.m. and a reception with sandwiches, deserts and beverages after the burial will be held at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter's Hospital or Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
