Fond memories of caddying for Willie Lamb of Lambton Golf & C.C. at Weston Golf & C.C. with host pro Gord DeLaat, Willie's brother Bob visiting from Summit and Walter Cunningham of St. George's Golf & C.C. making up the foursome. This was way back in the late 40's, early 50's. Three Scots with broad accents and our own Gord more than holding his own.I didn't realize how fortunate I was to be able to listen to their stories and witness amazing golf from all four men. It was a special time with fond memories. Condolences to the DeLaat family, he was special.
