Sue and all of Gord's Family: I first met Gord in 1984 at Roads and had the pleasure of his friendship for a number of years thereafter. My last visit with Gord was to your home in Aurora in the fall of 1991. You both invited me into your home for a lovely meal and friendship while I was away from my family. That is simply an example of a number of memories I have of Gord from our time (playing soccer) at university and during his service in the PPCLI as a subaltern. I was shocked and deeply saddened upon hearing of Gord's passing. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Please take some solace in knowing that others from far away and long ago friends grieve with you at this time.

Sue,

I'm so sorry to hear of your great loss. I have such old and fond memories of you and Nancy at public school and my many years with Gord at St. Andrew's. I can see his broad and open smile, and his infectious laughter rings in my ears as I write this. I wish you and the family all the strength you need at this difficult time.

Warmest regards,

Tom, Margot and Ken,

It is with my deepest sympathies that I am writing this note. I had no idea that Gord was ill and this comes as a great shock to me. Please know that although I have been out of the country for more than 12 years I look upon my times with Gord, Ken and our two families together in Newmarket as very special times. I often mention to my husband about driving up to your place every Sunday many years ago. Since Gord and I were the same age, we spent a lot of time together. Those were good childhood memories. He is in our hearts.

Love Sandra
