Gordon SCOULAR Obituary

SCOULAR, Gordon Michael Gord died of adenoid cystic carcinoma on Monday, October 25, 2021, at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital. Born in Toronto, Gord spent many years around Kettleby and Pottageville. In his youth, Gord enjoyed playing hockey, woodworking, and playing the drums. Known as Bikini Gord, Gord promoted and MC'd hundreds of events across North America. He photographed numerous SUNshine Girls for the Toronto Sun, and, for several years, worked as a model scout for Playboy Magazine. Gord is survived by a sister and a nephew. Thank you to the staff of Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital, and thanks to his many friends, for their kindness to Gord. If you wish to make a donation in his name, among many charities, Gord supported Abuse Hurts in Newmarket. As per his request, there will be no service, and Gord will be buried in Aurora.

He overcame a horrendous childhood as an orphan, and had a heart of gold. He was empathetic and supportive to many souls. He had an incredible announcer's voice, was an entertaining and funny MC at fund raisers and was a very fine portrait and glamour photographer. RIP Gordie
