Gordon SIMONELIS Obituary

SIMONELIS, Gordon Gordon Simonelis, aged 64 years, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017, suddenly of natural causes. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Deborah Ann Yaunish Simonelis, his mother; Helen Simonelis, sister; Sandra Simonelis Short Heaslip (Jimmy Heaslip), nieces; Andrea Short McCulloch (Tony) and Hollie, great-nephews; Jamie and Spencer McCulloch, cousins; Brenda Novelan Ankebrant (Bill) and Steven Novelan (Liz) and sisters-in-law; Cynthia Yaunish, Susan Yanuish Wallischeck (Robert) and Catherine Yaunish, nieces; Emma and Rebecca, great-niece; Lucy; great-nephew Jasper, and nephews; RJ and Zachary. Gordie was so passionate about everything in his life. He loved to give, loved meeting new people and making new friends. He was generous to a fault. He will be surely missed by anyone who had the pleasure of getting to know this wonderful man. Visitation will take place at Lynett Funeral Home, 3299 Dundas Street West, on Thursday, August 3rd from 2 – 5 p.m. Celebration of Life to follow at the Amsterdam Brewery on Queens Quay, his favorite place.
