TONKIN, GORDON SYDNEY Gordon passed away on May 11, 2023, in his 92nd year. A loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. Predeceased by Janet (Burrows). Survived by wife, Margaret (Williams); sons, Andy (Jo-Anne) and Bruce (Lynda); and daughter, Pam. Stepfather to Bruce, Ross (Jo-Anne); and predeceased by Keith (Teresa). Grandfather to ten and great-grandfather to six. A teacher for 35 years, he enjoyed travelling, singing, lawn bowling and curling in his retirement. A Celebration of Life will be held at Knox United Church, 2569 Midland Ave., Agincourt, on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Visitation 1 p.m. Service 2 p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Knox United or Sleeping Children Around the World would be appreciated.
