Gus Markopoulos Obituary
MARKOPOULOS, Gus - Peacefully in his 70th year at Toronto East General Hospital on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Eleni ''Nitsa'' for 39 years. Loving father of Kelly, Georgia, Ria and dear father-in-law of John, Frank and Mike. Cherished grandfather of Sarah, Eleni, Konstantino, Domenica and Daniel. Fondly remembered by his brother George and his sister Styliani. Gus will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held at HERITAGE FUNERAL CENTRE, 50 Overlea Blvd. 416-423-1000 on Thursday, October 23, 2008 from 5-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church on Friday, October 24, 2008 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the TEGH Foundation-ICU would be appreciated by the family. ''Dad you will always be with us in memory and in spirit. We will love you always.''
