Gus Papas Obituary

PAPAS, Gus - Peacefully on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the young age of 44 with his family by his side. Loving and wonderful son of Maria and Bill. He will be sadly missed by his loving brothers Danny and Larry (Darlene) and niece Paige. Gus will also be greatly missed by his girlfriend Judy, aunts, uncles and cousins. Gus was always smiling, he loved his sports and his fishing. Gus will always be in our hearts. Family and friends may call on Monday, August 23, 2010 from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday, August 24, 2010 from 4-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. at R.S. Kane Chapel (6150 Yonge Street). Interment to follow at York Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Condolences www.rskane.ca

Sorry for your loss as Gus will be terribly missed by so many. In very difficult times like this we need to look back and enjoy the fun memories. I remember how he enjoyed doing things with our son and even going to see a few of his hockey games. That is the person that we shall always remember. He has constantly been in our thoughts and prayers and this will always continue.
