Harry Ehrenworth Obituary

EHRENWORTH, Harry (Big E) - On Monday, March 9, 2009 at North York General Hospital. Harry Ehrenworth, beloved husband of June. Loving father and father-in-law of Brian and Lori, Alan and Diane, Debbie and Paul, David, Tracy and the late Jeffrey. Devoted grandfather of Christopher, Michael, Nicole, Matthew, Jack, Ryan, Taylor, Jamie, and Lauren. Dear brother of the late Freda Altfest, and Ben Ehrenworth. At the request of the family, a private service and shiva will be held. Friends are invited to a celebration of Harry's life, at the Bayview Country Club, 1 Fairway Heights Drive, Thornhill on Wednesday, March 11th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Harry Ehrenworth Memorial Fund, c/o The Benjamin Foundation, 3429 Bathurst St., M6A 2C3, 416-780-0324 or at www.benjamins.ca

My condolences to the Ehrenworth family on your loss. Big E was a special person who was always friendly and had a positive outlook on life. Bayview G&CC won't be the same without him. He will be missed but not forgotten.

We were very saddened to hear the news that Harry passed away this week. It was a pleasure to know Harry and to share many laughs with him when I would stop in to the business. We will keep him in our thoughts and prayers and wish June and the family the very best as they deal with the loss of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

June and Family: Anne and I would like to express our deep sorrow and symphathy on the Passing of our Dear Friend Mr E. Harry was without a doubt one of the finest persons one could and would ever meet. I shared many a moment discussing business and family with Harry, and was always amazed at his insight on life. You have lost a dear husband and father and the rest of us have lost a great friend.
