HARRY TAYLOR Obituary

TAYLOR, HARRY ROBERT 1936 - 2022 Retired Toronto Fire Fighter, Royal Canadian Navy Sailor, Classic Car Enthusiast Passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Belleville General Hospital. Loving father of the late Tammy Manshanden and Debbie Taylor; grandpa to Taylor; brother of David Taylor and his wife, Sylvia; sisters, Marilyn, Evelyn (the late Bill) and the late Helen (the late Robert); and uncle to Colleen (David) and Corine. Funeral services will be held at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Rd. (just east of St. Clair Ave. E.). Visitation on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., then Funeral Service will commence Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences may be left at: www.mcdbrownscarb.ca

I worked with Harry and he always gave me a deal when he sent Airline 11 to pick us up. I bought his old Juke Box from him when on Finch avenue and would often stop and chat cars when he was on Highview. Talked to him the week he was getting ready to move east. So long ol pal.. sorry I can not attend today. A great firefighter, mentor and old car guy.. RIP Harry
